I’m a natural skeptic. I use data and analysis to overcome that skepticism and make informed decisions that produce strong business results.
Throughout my 32 years of experience in sales, marketing, general management and leadership at Procter & Gamble (P&G), Cargill, and private equity to my current position as President and COO of Revier Brand Group LLC, I’ve learned that good leadership pays in the form of highly engaged employees which leads to exceptional business results.
I learned how the attributes of good leadership can help others thrive, and have led accordingly ever since. I believe the next generation of business leaders will need these skills more than ever, especially entrepreneurs who are thrust into leadership roles with little training from universities or the firms who invest in them.
A good leader is constantly learning, which is why I enjoy my roles as an advisory board member of JourneyTellr.com, the Kilts Center for Marketing for the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, and the Institute for Research in Marketing for the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Business.
